The Membership Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director in creating, planning, and presenting career programming to highlight a wide variety of career practice areas and options.

Additional Duties Include:

| |
- Responsible for the administration of student programming that includes coordinating the 1L Open House Orientation, 1L resume tutorials and simplicity training, and serve as primary counselor on routine career planning issues.
- Assists the Director with developing and implementing strategies to expand and improve career opportunities available to law students and supports the recruiting program.
- Provides individual counseling to students and alumni to assist with defining professional goals and developing employment strategy.
- Provides individualized and group career counseling and coaching to students regarding career planning, goals, options and opportunities, as well as job search strategies.
- Develops outreach programs for firm, government and public interest organizations and with other groups as assigned.
- Meets with representatives conducting interviews on-campus and work with those representatives to facilitate summer opportunities for fist and second-year law students.
- Develops, organizes and updates materials, including career planning handouts and manuals as they pertain to the broad range of legal and non-legal employment opportunities.
