Responsibilities:
Directs the planning, design, implementation and administration of the University’s compensation programs, including those related to: market pricing, survey participation, base salary structure, merit pay programs, variable pay, job evaluation and leveling, core system changes, etc. Researches strategic and tactical compensation issues and recommends new initiatives and changes to programs and practices, as necessary. Leads compensation projects that support the overall compensation strategy and/or University’s strategic objectives. Regularly reviews market trends and salary schedules to ensure the University’s competitiveness within the marketplace; recommends adjustments to salary structures, models and approaches in support of University goals and objectives. Proactively identifies and responds to current University initiatives and external changes as they relate to compensation.

Responsibilities:
Creates new administrative, staff and faculty positions. Oversees the maintenance of organizational locations and organizational charts.

Processes updates and approves positions for posting. Reviews Extra State Compensation and Fee for Service salary requests. Revises and approves job descriptions. Completes online position requests and maintains databases. Participates in internal and external market data requests.

Responsibilities:
Assists the Executive Director of Compensation in the administration of the University’s compensation program. Provides consultation in the implementation of compensation and position classification actions. Conducts salary analysis, conducts position audits, and participates in external market pricing for jobs. Processes all compensation actions for current employees.
