At Florida International University, Recruitment Services works diligently to attract, recruit, and retain the most qualified and diverse candidates to support strategic, academic, and operational excellence. The Recruitment Services Department’s responsibilities include:
  • Developing and utilizing of creative recruitment strategies to recruit the best and the brightest,
  • Managing the Recruitment process for all Administrative, Staff and Temporary employment including the development and placement of position advertisements, extension of formal employment offers, and facilitation of a “first class” on-boarding experience,
  • Working closely with Equal Opportunity Programs to ensure that our recruitment practices are compliant with federal and state employment regulations,
  • Directing and providing counsel to search and screen committees in their search efforts,
  • Developing and leveraging of internal and external partnerships to create awareness of the FIU Brand,
  • Investing in our internal workforce to enhance individual and organizational performance potential,
  • Educating the University community on Recruitment-related policies, procedures and best practices.
