Student Employee Award

Florida International University is committed to recognizing and awarding those students who have chosen to heighten their engagement experience while enrolled at the University by gaining invaluable work experience as a dual member of the FIU family.

During “Student Employment Week”, the University encourages departments to recognize all of their student employees. At the end of week-long activities, one student is awarded the “SEOTY” Student Employee of the Year Recognition Award. The recipient of this award is a student nominated by their department and selected as one who best embodies service excellence, dedication, and whose academic achievements remain stellar.
