FIU remains committed to supporting international talent and will continue to monitor developments surrounding the recent Presidential Proclamation on H-1B immigration policy. Effective September 21, 2025, Florida International University will not sponsor new H-1B visa petitions due to recent federal policy changes requiring a $100,000 petition fee. This decision applies to all new employment offers requiring H-1B sponsorship.
