The Division of State Group Insurance (DSGI) provides an Open Enrollment period each year to give eligible faculty, staff, temporary (OPS) employees and adjuncts an opportunity to enroll, change, add, or drop coverage and/or dependents from their benefits plans without a Qualified Status Change (QSC*) occurring.

Open Enrollment for the 2027 plan year begins Monday, October 12, 2026, at 8 a.m. and ends on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. ET. All changes made during the Open Enrollment period will take effect on Friday, January 1, 2027.

Make benefit changes online on the People First website or call the People First Service Center at (866) 663-4735 (TTY: (866) 221-0268), Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., ET.
