Jobs in this family provide legal or regulatory advice and representation to faculty, staff, senior administrators and the board of trustees. Other functions include monitoring and promoting compliance with university policies and regulations imposed by external agencies and local, state, and federal laws, assessing risk of non-compliance and recommending measures to mitigate these risks, investigating allegations of non-compliance, participating in the development of policies to promote compliance, advising faculty, staff, and senior administrators on compliance/regulatory issues, and providing compliance/regulatory training to university faculty, staff, and students.
