The Human Resources Customer Service Center supports the goals of the Division of Human Resources by serving as the central communication link in providing timely, accurate, and consistent delivery of information to address our customers’ service needs.  Through motivated, knowledgeable, caring, and professional team members, our commitment is to deliver service excellence to our customers with just one call.   


Human Resources Customer Service Center’s responsibilities include:

  • Responding in a timely manner to all incoming human resource inquiries via our main number

  • Responding to Division’s main email address -  hr@fiu.edu
  • Identifying areas of enhancement to increase customer service satisfaction and overall Division efficiency

Some of the services provided by the HR Customer Service Team include the following:

  • Verify eligibility and approve Tuition Waiver requests for employees and/or their eligible dependents  
  • Provide information and support with Division services pertaining to the following:
    • Employee health, dental, life, supplemental, and retirement programs
    • Payroll inquiries
    • Policies and procedures
    • HR communications
